The innovation research company Diamedica Ltd. was found in 2001 on the base of Immunochemistry Laboratory of The Russian Academy of Sciences’ Institute for Physiologically Active Compounds (IPAC) and Experimental Biochemistry and Immunology Department of Moscow Research and Practical Centre of Narcology.
The fundamental research of drugs of abuse metabolism and mechanisms of anti-drugs antibodies formation were started in IPAC 20 years ago (see our Publications). The test-systems for latent drug addiction was developed in 2001, and then we started to certify and sell the kits. In 2004 we won the competition “START” which was hold by The Foundation for Assistance in Development of Small Companies in the Field of Science and Technology.
In 2005 our company got the positive assessment in the progress in our products commercialisation by the Foundation and the project was continued. Diamedica was prized by a Diploma for a successful work.
Since 2007 we established Dianark Ltd. company that manufactures our test kits (manufacture division), sells them (sales division) and carries out the assays (diagnostic laboratory).
The fields of our work:
The ELISA kits development for the detection of:
- antibodies to drugs (revealing drug intake and latent drug users)
- natural antibodies to endogenous bioregulators (opioid peptides and biogenic amines) for determination of drug taking endurance and severity
- natural antibodies for early diagnostics of diseases, immune status assessment, therapy effectiveness control and predisposition to different diseases reveal.
